Character Value Portrait.

This is another piece from my 2D-Character Design class. We had to come up with a character, draw them head-to-bust, make line work, and then add value. This character is kind of a work-in-progress of what I think the Disney Version of Persephone should look like [since I didn't like how she looks in the film]. I wanted her to be mischievous, witty, and have kind of a sarcastic manner of speaking (obviously like Hades, hence why they are made for each other). However this only shows one of her personality traits; she's very indecisive when it comes to decisions, and can be cautious at times when something is very dangerous, as well as sensitive/self-conscience.

I had no references for this piece: just influenced by the Disney Hercules style and other artist's interpretation of her.
